For £15 per month, Sky's entry level bundle offers super-fast Broadband, free UK evening and weekend landline calls, plus 68 digital TV channels - making it a strong headline proposition to launch with. There's a one-off £30 set up cost, but that's a small price to pay considering you receive a free wireless router and 12 months free McAfee security worth £49.99.
The broadband, known as Sky Base Broadband, has a 2Mb download speed and comes with a 2Gb monthly download usage cap. The phone service called Sky Talk provides free evening and weekend landline calls, though bear in mind it excludes calls to mobiles, international destinations and non geographic numbers.
To receive a Sky broadband, phone and TV bundle you must live in a Sky network area where they've unbundled the local BT telephone exchange - at the time of writing they currently have 70% coverage of the UK and are rolling out fast.
If you're new to Sky you'll need to take a TV package, while existing Sky TV customers can get Sky Base Broadband for free. You can add on Sky Sports or Sky Movies to your chosen bundle, or upgrade your broadband speed or Sky TV box - thus enabling you to build the broadband, phone and TV package to suit your needs.
