New customers signing up to TalkTalk's Talk 2 International call plan for £5.89 a month can get free broadband, offpeak phone calls, 40 digital TV channels (Free Freeview box) & 2 months free Setanta Sports.
In time for the start of the football season, the offer competes strongly against the BT Vision on demand Premiership football service, plus the bundled broadband and sport subscription services from Virgin Media and Sky.
After the first two month, access to Setanta Sports costs £9.99 per month with the service providing 46 exclusively live Barclays Premier league football matches that are not available on Sky.
It looks like the Carphone Warehouse has stolen a march on its rivals again with another clever broadband and calls proposition wrapped with attractive Premiership football content that no doubt will drive its Talk Talk subscriber numbers further this summer.
