Talk Talk Tops Poll For Most Satisfied Broadband Customers

TalkTalk is celebrating this week after topping a Point Topic consumer survey into broadband satisfaction levels in the UK.
TalkTalk is rated the leading ISP in terms of customers who are happy to stick with their choice of broadband. More than 73% of the TalkTalk customers surveyed said they are planning to retain their broadband service which means that TalkTalk tops the table by some distance.
Orange, who followed in the footsteps of the ‘Free Broadband’ revolution instigated by TalkTalk, comes at the other end of the table with only 45% of its broadband customers prepared to stick with the company as their main ISP.
TalkTalk also showed a fantastic improvement rate in general user satisfaction, proving that it is fast on their way to becoming the people’s choice.
Dr Katja Mueller, Research Director at Point Topic comments: “This reflects the efforts that The Carphone Warehouse has put into its customer service. Charles Dunstone has repeatedly claimed that the company was addressing the issues and the research bears him out.”
David Thatcher, Managing Director of TalkTalk, said: “We’re very pleased with the results of this independent research as we’ve worked hard to give our customers the high-level of service they deserve. However, we’re still planning further improvements and we’ll not rest until the service is the very best it can be.
