| In our opinion, BT still leads the way with its innovative range of market leading broadband packages that now start from just £7.78 a month. Their Total broadband packages are fairly priced for the 8Mb download speeds, suite of security software and future proof technology that you will receive. All their packages have generous monthly download usage allowances whilst you can also sign up to make free off peak phone calls over the Internet using BT Broadband Talk. If you're in the market for a bundle, its worth noting that you can receive a digital TV Freeview recorder when you add BT Vision (BT's television service) to your broadband order. BT Vision includes Freeview as standard, whilst also allowing you to download films, TV and sport to your television using your BT broadband connection. You pay per view for the additional TV you want to watch so it costs a little more than Freeview, but less than Sky or Virgin Media. And there's no compulsory TV subscriptions. Don't forget with BT Total Broadband you'll also qualify for at least 250 free Wi-Fi minutes meaning you can enjoy wireless broadband access at hotspots across the country using your laptop. |
