BT Vision TV Essential Package
BT Vision's TV Essential package is a new option that enables customers to pay a minimum monthly subscription fee of just £4 for BT TV. The package includes a free BT Vision digital TV recorder box worth £199 which can be used to pause, rewind and record live TV, 70 Freeview channels, plus Catch-up TV on your telly using the BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4OD and Demand5. Users also have instant pay per view access to thousands of hours of films and TV shows (5,300 shows) at the touch of a button. Pay per view shows cost from as little as 50p a show.Existing BT customers and many switching Sky TV customers are using the BT Vision Essential service (which includes Freeview) to save money on their digital TV bills as the monthly subscription fee is so low - just £4! They then simply pay as they go for the additional TV shows, latest films, live sport or kids TV they want to watch. Note, as opposed to pay per view, Sky Sports 1 and 2 is available on BT Vision with a short 1 month contract period, meaning you can start and stop your access & payment for Sky Sports in line with what's on. | BT Vision is an excellent service which gives you Freeview channels via your TV aerial together with access to thousands of films, TV shows, music videos, sport and kids entertainment on your TV via your BT Broadband connection. You can take the BT Vision TV Unlimited package and pay £12.50 a month for unlimited access to the 5,300 shows and films on offer, or pay per view (from 50p a show) with the TV Essential package (£4 a month). Both packages include a free BT Vision+ digital recorder box worth £199, 70 Freeview channels and Catch-up TV using the likes of the BBC iPlayer on your telly. Existing BT Broadband customers can add the BT Vision TV Essential package for just £4 a month, while non BT customers can take a BT Vision, Broadband and an Evening & Weekend Phone Calls package from BT and pay just £4 a month for the first 6 months (£17p/m after). Sky Sports 1 or 2 can also be added and costs from just £12.90 a month for one channel or £18.20 a month for both Sky Sports channels. It's not surprising that over 600,000 people have signed up to BT Vision and this is set to increase further given the flexibility and choice BT's digital TV service offers - not to mention its low cost. |
