O2 Mobile Broadband delivers fast broadband speeds up to 7.2Mb using the O2 mobile broadband network and the O2 plug and play dongle. Users can choose to pay £20.42 upfront for the O2 dongle and then pay as they go for the data they use. Data costs start from £2.04 for 200MB which is available for 1 day, £10.21 for 1GB which is available for 1 month and £15.32 for 2GB (also available for 1 month). Users can simple top up as and when they want with the data allowance they require.Instead of pay as you go, users can opt for the one month contract option, paying a reduced £10.20 for the O2 dongle and £10.21 a month for 1GB of data.
Unlimited access to 6,100 Wi-Fi hotspots across the UK is also available on both pay as you go and the one month contract option.
Finally it's worth noting that if you take your O2 dongle abroad, the charge for surfing the net and checking emails etc. is not included in your core package allowance. Costs for data usage outside of the UK are circa £3/MB in EU countries and £6/MB for countries outside the EU. We suggest you contact O2 prior to using your O2 dongle abroad.

| It's no wonder O2 mobile broadband has been a huge seller in the mobile broadband for laptops and tablets market. Priced competitively, the packages on offer provide good mobile broadband download speeds up to 7.2Mb, a choice of data usage allowances, plus give people the option of a choosing either a rolling one month contract, or pay as you go with no contract. Mobile broadband from O2 is one to be seriously considered and one we certainly recommend. |
